Fred Meyer Community Rewards
Fred Meyer is donating $2.6 million per year to non-profits in the Northwest, based on where their customers tell them to give. Here’s how the program works:
- Sign up for the Community Rewards program by linking your Fred Meyer Rewards Card to Love INC of Treasure Valley at www.fredmeyer.com/communityrewards. You can search for us by our name or by our non-profit number UC238.
- Then, every time you shop and use your Rewards Card, you are helping Love INC earn a donation!
- You still earn your Rewards Points, Fuel Points, and Rebates, just as you do today.
- If you do not have a Rewards Card, they are available at the Customer Service desk of any Fred Meyer store.

Schedule a Furniture Pickup
If you are unable to haul large items of furniture or appliances, you can call 208.466.7810 ext. 301 to arrange a pickup or complete this online form to request a call back.
Our furniture pickup teams are volunteers who serve on designated days from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. You will receive a call to schedule a day to pickup your items that meet our donation standards.
Our Product Shortages List
Donated product is always needed in several ministry areas. Check here frequently for a list of current shortages or click here to subscribe to a ministry e-newsletter in which we share our needs regularly.
You can view our ministry needs and shop using our Amazon Wish List! Our shipping address is 16470 N. Franklin Blvd., Nampa, ID 83687.
We’re also in need of 27-gallon storage totes with yellow lids from Costco to keep our Donation Center running efficiently. These specific totes are essential—they stack well and allow us to sort, store, and prepare items for our monthly sidewalk sales and seasonal needs. While similar bins exist, they are not interchangeable, so we kindly ask that all donations be the Costco version. You can often find them individually in-store or purchase a pack online (Costco membership required).
If cleaning out your closet or personal shopping is not your thing, you can still support these ministries financially with a donation designated for “Pantry,” “Gas Vouchers,” etc. Click here to find out more about financial donations.

Car Donations
Reliable transportation is often a key step toward self-sufficiency for families in our New Hope Program. Many enrolled families struggle to get to and from work due to a lack of dependable vehicles. When a reliable car is donated, we’re able to bless a family and help them continue their journey toward stability. If you’re considering donating a vehicle, here are a few important things to know:
Vehicle Standards
We are only able to accept vehicles that meet specific criteria to ensure safety and reliability for our clients. We do not accept vehicles that:
- Have a Salvage Title even if they run well.
- Are not currently running or would require towing to a shop.
- Need major repairs, such as a new engine or transmission.
- Are known to be nearing the end of their usable life.
- Are unsafe to drive, such as having a non-functioning speedometer or other serious safety issues.
If your vehicle doesn’t meet these criteria, consider selling it to a local junk or steel yard and donating the proceeds to Love INC. Even those funds can help provide future auto repairs for our clients!
Donation Process
- Initial Evaluation: Every vehicle must be evaluated by one of our trusted partner mechanics. Love INC will coordinate with the mechanic and then connect you with them for inspection.
- Approval: After the evaluation, we’ll determine whether the vehicle can be accepted. If extensive repairs are needed, we may need to decline the donation.
- Title Transfer and Tax Receipt: If approved, we’ll schedule a time to complete the title transfer and accept the vehicle. You’ll receive a tax receipt and the appropriate paperwork for your records.
