At a recent event hosted by one of our partner churches, a woman stopped by the Love INC table. When asked if she was familiar with Love INC, she shared a story that deeply encouraged our team.

Ten years ago, she came to Love INC during one of the darkest seasons of her life. She was trapped in a domestic violence situation and caring for her baby son while carrying fear, uncertainty, and overwhelming burdens. But when she came to Love INC, she found more than services. She found people who cared about her and her son.

Through classes, mentorship, encouragement, and people simply walking alongside her, she experienced the love of Christ in tangible ways. Churches, volunteers, and community partners surrounded her with support during a time when she desperately needed hope.

And during that season, she came to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior.

As she shared her story, her eyes filled with gratitude. Today, she is married, raising a growing family, and thriving. Standing beside her at the event was her 10-year-old son—the same little boy she carried through those painful days years ago. Our staff member had the opportunity to meet him and described him as polite, kind, and such a fine young man.

Moments like this remind us what Love INC is truly about.

It’s about more than meeting immediate needs. It’s about walking alongside people as God brings healing, hope, and transformation over time.

It’s about the Body of Christ not only coming together, but working together—churches, volunteers, mentors, prayer partners, and community members united in purpose and love.

Sometimes we may never fully see the impact of a conversation, a class taught, a prayer prayed, or a volunteer hour given.

But every act of love matters.

Ten years later, the fruit remains.
